"S" Club

The Hanford Soroptimist Club sponsors a “S” Club on campus of Hanford High School, Hanford West High School and Sierra Pacific High School.

“S” Club is a service club made up of high school students who are concerned with improving the quality of life for themselves and those around them. They work in cooperation with their school to build high standards and ideals, and to prepare members to assume leadership roles in the business and professional world. Each club chooses the programs of service they believe will better their school and community. Each “S” Club must have a Campus Advisor who works together with the Soroptimist Advisor to advise and assist the “S” Club members in their activities.

The first “S” Club in Hanford was chartered at Hanford High in 1992. Hanford West “S” Club was chartered in 2003 and Sierra Pacific “S” Club was chartered in 2012.
